Back to Reality

Back to Reality is a 2D Platform game that is based on the Edgar Allen Poe poem A Dream within a Dream, as well as the concept of Narcolepsy.  

In Back to Reality, the dream world is beginning to merge with the real world, resulting in dreams becoming reality, whilst reality itself is being rewritten.                        

Throughout the game, the player can switch between the dream world and reality to overcome challenges and find the causes of the merging of both worlds. 

Controls D Key = Move character forwards 

A Key = Move character backward 

Space Bar = Jump E Key = Interact with an object

T Key = Toggle between dream and reality 

R Key = Attack (Dreamworld only) 

P Key = Pause game 

Mouse Movement = Aim Grappling Hook (Temple level only) 

Left Click = Fire Grappling Hook (Temple level only)
